You can call me Z — short for Zhayir — and I’m not your average entrepreneur. I’m a proud Gen X Black business owner, deeply rooted in a mission to make a difference. With over two decades in the fitness industry and the last four years immersed in cosmetic formulation, my journey has been one of transformation — both personal and professional. I’ve always believed in balance: in health, in skin, in life.
My work has always centered around giving back — to my community, to my roots, and to myself. Because the truth is: we can’t fully show up for others if we don’t first care for ourselves. What pushed me forward? Simple. The market has long overlooked the unique needs of melanin-rich skin — and I lived that reality. So instead of waiting for change, I became it. I educated myself, studied ingredients, explored nature’s gifts, and began formulating for those of us who were too often ignored.
